Art Show and Sale to Feature Ceramics, Artist Greeting Cards, Hand-Made Jewelry
Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present its annual Holiday Art Show and Sale, December 5-9, in the Art Gallery (lower level, College Center) at the College’s Branchburg campus. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
The exhibition and sale will feature a varied display of work created by RVCC students, instructors and several alumni. The ceramic work for sale ranges from low-fire smoked and Raku vessels to high-fired functional and sculptural pieces in porcelain and stoneware. Other show highlights include artist greeting cards, hand-made sterling silver jewelry, and original drawings and paintings. The Holiday Art Show and Sale offers a great opportunity for members of the public and the College community to support local artisans this holiday season.
Gallery hours for the sale are as follows: Monday through Thursday, December 5-8, noon-8 p.m.; Friday, December 9, noon-6 p.m. Purchases may be made by cash or personal checks only. For additional information, contact Darren McManus at darren.mcmanus@raritanval.edu.
