The Honors College opens up exciting opportunities for you inside the classroom, in the community and in preparing for the future. The Honors College is a stepping stone to greater educational opportunities and success in life.

Honors College by the Numbers

  • Approximately 70 students admitted each year
  • Roughly 20 different high schools represented each year
  • Over 80% retention rate (from freshman to sophomore year)
  • Over 75% graduate within two years
  • Over 85% have successfully transferred to pursue bachelor’s degrees
  • Admitted students average over a 3.50 GPA (or 90%) GPA
  • Admitted students average between 1150-1200 on the SAT
