Poetry Reading and Book Signing Scheduled
Raritan Valley Community College will present a poetry reading and book signing with torrin a. greathouse, April 7, from 12-1 p.m. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Atrium at the College’s Branchburg campus.
torrin a. greathouse is a transgender cripple-punk and MFA candidate at the University of Minnesota. Her work is published in POETRY, Ploughshares, New England Review, and The Kenyon Review. They have received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Effing Foundation for Sex Positivity, Zoeglossia, and the University of Arizona Poetry Center. Author of Wound from the Mouth of a Wound (Milkweed Editions, 2020), she is finalist for the Minnesota Book Award, the CLMP Firecracker Award, and the Kate Tufts Discovery Award.
