RVCC, CVS Health Set Virtual Pharmacy Technician Hiring Event
Raritan Valley Community College, in partnership with CVS Health, will present a virtual hiring event for the College’s upcoming Pharmacy Technician Apprentice Program, January 11, at 4 p.m. During the event, representatives from CVS Health and RVCC will discuss the program with prospective students and applicants and explain the role of a pharmacy technician.
The grant-funded, Pharmacy Technician Apprentice Program, which will run February 7-May 18, is part of the College’s non-credit Allied Health division. Classes will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5-8 p.m. Students will work closely with a Success Coach who will guide them through the training. The program features remote, on-the-job, and classroom learning at RVCC’s Workforce Training Center. Students train for positions offering competitive wages in a hospital or retail setting.
The January 11 virtual hiring event will be held via Zoom, and students are asked to register in advance at https://bit.ly/3rGshjx. After registering, participants will receive information about joining the meeting.
