Fisher College is excited to announce an articulation agreement with Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in New Jersey. RVCC graduates or transfer students who meet the requirements are assured acceptance to Fisher College.

According to Fisher’s admissions team, transfer agreements have been a major focus for Fisher College because they help remove entry barriers for transfer students such as application fees and credit loss.

“By partnering with other two-year institutions, we are creating a seamless pathway for students to complete their bachelor’s degrees in the heart of Boston without adding extra time or expense to their educational journey. Our city comes with so many world-renowned opportunities both in and outside the classroom - I am looking forward to sharing with RVCC graduates about what it is like to live and study in one of America’s greatest college cities,” said Thomas Englehardt ’09, Director of Admissions.

Students will be able to apply up to 90 credits they earned at RVCC to a degree at Fisher that aligns with credits they earned at RVCC. For example, RVCC students who earn an Associate of Arts in Business Administration or an Associate of Science in Business Management can apply their credits to the Bachelor of Science in Management at Fisher without having to start over. “The new agreement offers Raritan Valley Community College graduates majoring in a variety of subjects, such as business, communication, English and liberal arts, health information technology, criminal justice, social science, and game development, a wonderful opportunity to continue their higher education and earn a bachelor’s degree at Fisher College. With Fisher’s vast array of online degree programs, students in many majors have the added benefit of staying close to home and completing their degree virtually,” said Dr. Michael J. McDonough, president of Raritan Valley Community College.

Through flexible credit transfers and generous financial aid, Fisher ensures that transfer students can complete their degrees and fulfil their educational goals as seamlessly as possible. In addition to the articulation agreement with RVCC, Fisher is also part of the Mass Transfer Guarantee, a similar agreement with community colleges throughout Massachusetts.

“Transfer students have historically enriched the Fisher community by bringing their unique perspectives and experiences. We are excited to continue this tradition by extending an articulation agreement to students from out of state, and believe that RVCC students will bring a lot to the Fisher community,” said Fisher College President Steven Rich.
