RVCC Welcomes New Faculty Members
Raritan Valley Community College welcomes the following new faculty members to the College community:
Billy Bataille, Economics
As a new member of the RVCC family, Billy hopes to provide his students with a better understanding of recent economic events that impact everyone. To provide students with additional knowledge in a familiar format, he has created a TeachEcoKnowmics Blog and a YouTube channel where he posts his recorded lectures and current articles. He holds graduate degrees in Economics from the University of Miami and in Geography from the Sorbonne-University of Paris.
Jennyfer Giffin, Nursing
A Certified Emergency Nurse, Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse, and a Certified Nurse Educator, Jennyfer has worked as a Registered Nurse at Hunterdon Medical Center in the Intensive/Cardiac Care Unit, the Emergency Department, and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. She received an MS in Nursing with an Emphasis in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University; a BS in Nursing from Grand Canyon University; and Diploma in Nursing from St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing.
Sara Heller, Automotive Technology
Before joining RVCC’s team, Sara ran the automotive technology program at Middlesex County College. She also taught automotive technology at numerous high schools throughout New York state and has worked as an automotive technician in automotive shops. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Queens College and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Cappella University. She also holds various licenses and certifications in the automotive field.
Tracey Keegan, Nursing
A graduate of RVCC’s Nursing program, Tracey worked at Overlook Hospital in the Emergency Room before moving to Hunterdon County. She then worked at Hunterdon Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room while she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Science from Fairleigh Dickinson and Master's Degree in Science from Rutgers University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has worked in the ER at Hunterdon Medical Center since 2010.
Anna Keiserman, Music
Anna is an award-winning pianist who has toured internationally. In her recently released debut album, Russian Mosaic, she offers rarely heard gems by Rachmaninoff, Shchedrin, Smirnov and Medtner. Anna has served as a faculty member at the NYU Steinhardt School of the Arts, the Rutgers University Extension Division, and William Paterson University. Linda Yang, Computer Science
Linda Yang has been teaching computer science as an adjunct faculty member at RVCC since the Spring 2013 Semester. She previously worked in the industry as a software engineer for Bell Communications Research. Linda received a BS in Computer Science from The College of Staten Island and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Bellevue University. She says she loves the RVCC environment—her students, her co-workers, and the campus.
