The Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College will present a timely webinar series, “Resilience During Challenging Times: Testimonies that Provide Hope,” Fridays, April 17-May 29, from 3-4 p.m.

The series, which will be offered via Zoom webinars, is being co-sponsored by the Holocaust Education Center of the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center and 3GNJ. Each program will include a question-and-answer segment.

The webinars feature testimonies of resistance from Holocaust survivors and their family members, as well as authors. The scheduled list of speakers includes:

• April 17: Maud Dahme
• April 24: Beatrice Abrams
• May 1: Barbara Gilford
• May 8: Peppy Margolis
• May 15: Evelyn Rauch
• May 22: Jessica Wang
• May 29: Elyse Wolff

Focusing on the theme of “Resilience and Hope,” the segments address such topics as: How did the survivors get through such a difficult period and manage to go on after those dark days? What perspectives can we learn from their loved ones? The goal is to provide hope for people today who are frightened because of our current challenges.
