English and Spanish Information Sessions, Campus Tours Slated in December
Learn about all Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has to offer by attending an Information Session in December at the College’s Branchburg campus. The College is offering General Information Sessions as well a special session for those interested in its Automotive Technology career program. In addition, RVCC will hold Information Sessions for adult students in English and in Spanish.
General Information Sessions and campus tours are scheduled for Friday, December 7, from 10-11 a.m., and Thursday, December 13, from 4-6 p.m. Both sessions will be held in RVCC’s Atrium (lower level, College Center)
During the sessions, RVCC Admissions specialists will provide information about:
• Enrolling in classes for the Spring Semester starting January 22
• Programs designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities in New Jersey, across the country, and even in Europe
• Career training programs, designed in partnership with local industry, that can be completed in a year or less
• The admissions process
• Financial aid options and scholarship opportunities
An Information Session for RVCC’s Automotive Technology program will be held Wednesday, December 5, from 3-4 p.m., in the College’s Workforce Training Center. During the event, prospective students will have an opportunity to learn about the innovative and successful program, meet with staff and faculty, and explore the exciting career potential in the field of automotive technology. The Auto Tech program offers Subaru and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) manufacturer training. Program graduates attain additional industry credentials from Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS), Snap-On, and other industry partners to allow students to stand out to potential employers.

Information Sessions for adults who are considering returning to college or have never attended college will be held Saturday, December 1, at 10 a.m., and Tuesday, December 11, at 7:30 p.m. Special Spanish-speaking sessions will be offered on Saturday, December 1, at 11 a.m., and Tuesday, December 18, at 7:30 p.m. All of the December Adult Information Sessions will be held in RVCC’s Conference Center, Room 101.
Aside from general admissions information, the sessions will focus on transferring college credits, earning credits for life experience, and making a successful transition back to school after being away from the classroom for years.
