Raritan Valley Community College will continue its tradition of honoring students’ outstanding academic work at its annual Nota Bene event, April 20, at 6 p.m. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Evelyn S. Field Library at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Each year, Nota Bene celebrates the power of imagination by showcasing outstanding student work from across the curriculum. The students have been nominated by faculty members. Their submissions feature a diverse mixture of literature, videos, demonstrations, and visual artwork.

This April, RVCC will celebrate the following students whose work exemplifies imagination, ambition, and critical thinking: Sarah Connors, Joseph Petrella, Justin Agins, Viridiana Martinez, Rosaisela Priego Hernandez, Steven Yaged, Sean Zujkowski, Samantha Camisa, Mackenzie Murray, Ashleigh Harrison, Robin Koch, Christine Patriarca, Kelly Mobus, Julia Lucas, Rene Hill, Esther Hiamang, Julia Garaffa, Mercy Villacis, Ann Marie Masiello, Kevin Morgan, Catherine Chen, Christopher Melfi, and Lauren Wougk. In addition, the previous years’ hosts from the Event Planning class will be honored: Janice Maynard, Brittany Pinho, Nicole Zaliwski, Christopher DeFalco, Elizabeth Guy, and Drew Edmiston.

Latin for "noteworthy,” Nota Bene acknowledges the creative strength and ingenuity that is prevalent at Raritan Valley Community College. For additional information, email Emma McJury, emmamcjury@gmail.com.
