RVCC Information Sessions, Campus Tours Slated in September
Learn about all Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has to offer by attending an Information Session in September at the College’s Branchburg campus. The full Fall Semester begins September 6 and an accelerated 12-week semester starts on September 20.
General information sessions and campus tours are scheduled for Friday, September 1, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); Friday, September 8, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); Friday, September 15, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); Friday, September 22, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); Thursday, September 28, 4-6 p.m., Atrium (lower level, College Center); and Friday, September 29, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101).
During the sessions, RVCC Admissions specialists will provide information about:
• Enrolling in classes for the Fall Semester or the accelerated 12-week session starting September 20
• Programs designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities in New Jersey, across the country, and even in Europe
• Career training programs, designed in partnership with local industry, that can be completed in a year or less
• The admissions process
• Paying for college, including financial aid opportunities
Special Information Sessions for Adults who are considering returning to college or who have never attended college will be held Saturday, September 9, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and Friday, September 22, from noon-2 p.m. Both Information Sessions will be held in the RVCC Conference Center, Room 101. Aside from general admissions information, the sessions will focus on transferring college credits, earning credits for life experience, and making a successful transition back to school after being away from the classroom for years.
