eXperience Exciting Careers & Opportunities
Raritan Valley Community College is excited to host a dynamic, one-week experience for a select group of college students from around the region to explore exciting careers in biomanufacturing and life sciences.
The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) eXperience will provide 15 students an immersive program that will build self-confidence and provide networking opportunities with industry professionals in science, technology engineering, and math (STEM) fields.
Now in its fourth year, the NIIMBL eXperience has helped students learn about the biopharmaceutical industry as they begin their career journeys. Past NIIMBL eXperience students have gone on to secure internships at some of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing companies.
The program serves African American/Black, Latinx, and Native American freshman and sophomores in STEM majors. It is an exclusive in-person, all expenses paid immersion program designed to introduce students to biopharmaceutical careers.
RVCC will connect students with industry professionals to enhance their educational experience and further their understanding of career options. Through a series of tours, networking events, and one-on-one coaching sessions, students will foster a professional mind-set, build confidence in understanding how to navigate corporate culture, and enhance clarity and confidence in defining their career and educational goals.
