Explore Online Resources and Make a Roadmap

Are you considering an art school or studying engineering or business? Have you thought about location preferences? Do the research and make a list. Ask yourself: “If I could go anywhere, where would I want to go?” Once there is a clear idea of your preferences, make sure that you research what credits will transfer at the colleges of your choice. There are online search resources such as NJTransfer, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating residents on transferring in New Jersey, that make the transfer process a bit easier. You can search for transfer school options “near me” or for a specific college or university in New Jersey.

Connect with Professors and Peers

Sometimes it’s simply the people around us that end up being our greatest resources. Transferring brings up a lot of questions and concerns, but you don’t have to move through this process alone.
