The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will present a concert by the musical duo Trout Fishing in America, Saturday, November 16, at 2 p.m.

The performance is part of the Theatre’s Family Matinee series, designed for children and young teens and their families.

Trout Fishing in America features the songwriting collaboration of artists Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. For almost 50 years, their vibrant sound and dynamic stage presence have cultivated a multigenerational fan base at performing arts centers, clubs, and music festivals across the country. Trout Fishing music blends the sounds of rock-n-roll, blues, funk, folk, and jazz with lyrics that are simultaneously witty, whimsical, and poignant.

The band has traveled over a million miles while touring the United States and Canada. The musicians’ stylistic contrasts, combined with their deep, abiding friendship and solid musicianship, bring people out to Trout shows year after year.

Tickets for Trout Fishing in America cost $25, $20, and $15.
