RVCC offers programs across an array of arts-related fields, including dance, theatre, visual art, interior architecture and design, graphic design, and more. Programs include:
Associate Degrees Designed to Transfer to Four-Year Colleges

Dance, Associate of Fine Arts
The Dance program focuses on the skills and concepts of dance necessary for a career in the contemporary dance world, with study in modern dance, ballet technique, jazz technique, and performance of repertory. -
Game Art, Associate of Science
This program covers traditional art skills—such as drawing and 2D design—and shows how to apply them to interactive technological environments. Game art students are exposed to audio production, video editing, and more. -
Graphic and Interactive Design, Associate of Fine Arts
Students in this program pursue rigorous training and art education in 2D graphics, new media, and motion graphic arts.

Interface Design & Web Development, Associate of Science
This program is designed for students who are looking to transfer into an interface design, UI/UX, interactive multimedia, web development, or a similar interdisciplinary program at a four-year institution. -
Interior Architecture and Design, Associate of Science
In this program, students pursue a rigorous program in interior design. Throughout the year, they also visit showrooms and attend design lectures, trade lectures, workshops, seminars, and more. -
Music, Associate of Fine Arts
Students develop their performance skills by taking four semesters of private lessons (Applied Music) and by participating each semester in at least one major performing ensemble. -
Theatre Arts, Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts
This program is ideal for students interested in all aspects of theatre including acting, directing, playwriting, and technical theatre. This degree offers a broad-based liberal arts curriculum with ample studio courses. -
Visual Arts, Associate of Fine Arts
This degree is intended for students who desire careers as professional studio artists or college art teachers.

Arts-Related Clubs at RVCC
Continue your love of the arts outside the classroom with our Arts & Design-related clubs!
- RVCC Dance Club
This student-run club, which welcomes dancers of all skill levels, focuses on a variety of styles, including jazz, contemporary, modern, ballet, tap, and hip hop. - Animation Club
Animation enthusiasts of all skill levels have the opportunity to work individually and in groups on the digital animation production process, with a focus on 2D design. - Film Club
