Perhaps you have asked yourself: “What is the best way to learn about meaningful career training, workforce programs or a trade school that is near me?” The answer is right in your backyard: Raritan Valley Community College’s Career Expo and Showcase on Thursday, April 4, from 4-6 p.m. This amazing event is held in the College’s state-of-the-art Workforce Training Center (WTC) at the Branchburg campus. Designed to connect local employers, job seekers and students, the Expo is FREE and open to the public.
What Takes Place at RVCC’s Career Expo and Showcase?
The Career Expo and Showcase is a valuable, efficient and exciting way to learn about a wide range of program offerings—all on the same day and under one roof! As a participant, you will have the opportunity to:
- Tour RVCC’s cutting-edge Workforce Training Center and learn about the resources available to students.
- Network with employers face-to-face and get an inside look at their organizations.
- Learn about RVCC’s degree and certificate offerings and customized training programs.
- Receive an overview of the College’s diverse programs including everything from Cosmetology and Esthetics to Automotive Technology and Advanced Manufacturing (CNC) to HVAC to Commercial Energy Management.

Raritan Valley Community College is devoted not only to providing students with valuable education and high-skilled training, but also supporting students in their job search and placement. In fact, through apprenticeships and partnerships with high schools and employers, the College offers educational training opportunities for students interested in entering the workforce soon after graduating from high school.
Always leading the way, RVCC recently became the first New Jersey community college to offer a Manufacturing registered apprenticeship program. Approved by the US Department of Labor, the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Certified Machinist Apprenticeship program is a competency-based program that aligns with the College’s NIMS-related technical instruction curriculum.
