Ten students in Raritan Valley Community College’s Honors College presented their independent “Capstone Course” projects as part of a daylong symposium, held December 13 at the College’s Branchburg Campus.

Topics ran the gamut of subjects—from “Promoting Normal Growth and Development for Children with Crohn’s Disease,” to “How Would an Average Person Go About Running for President of the United States,” to “Examining Common Medications from the Perspective of a Pharmacy Student,” to “Financial Scandals: Due to Lack of Knowledge or Mal-intent in Finance?” The Capstone Course is designed to guide sophomore Honors College students from all disciplines through the stages of researching and writing a major research paper or project, or developing an artistic pursuit. The students are supervised by faculty members and present their work at the end of the semester.
