New Trustee Named to RVCC Board
Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Board of Trustees welcomed new member Donald Rica of Basking Ridge at its meeting held Tuesday, June 20. Rica was appointed to the position by the Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
“We welcome Donald Rica to the Board of Trustees. His extensive background in such areas as construction, finance and contract negotiation will make him a valuable addition to the RVCC Board,” said RVCC President Michael J. McDonough.
Rica has served as Partner/CFO of Rica Properties, LLC in Warren since 1990. Active in public service, Rica is Vice Chairman of the Somerset County Library Commission, Vice Chairman of the Somerset County Insurance Commission, and a Voting Member of the Bernards Township Deer Commission. He also is an Honorary Member of the Kenilworth Fire Department and volunteers with the Visiting Nurses of Somerset Hills.
Rica received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Trenton State University, now known as The College of New Jersey.
