RVCC to Hold June Open House for Prospective Students
Members of the community are invited to attend a Summer Open House at Raritan Valley Community College on Thursday, June 29, from 5-7 p.m. The event, designed for 2017 high school graduates and adults who are interested in pursuing a college degree or certificate, will be held in the Conference Center at the College’s Branchburg campus.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to hear about the College firsthand from current students and alumni; tour the campus; learn about support services for adults who are returning to the classroom; and meet with members of the RVCC faculty. Participants also may learn about degree programs that are designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities, as well as training programs that prepare students for a new career in a year or less.
Students attending the Open House may learn more about the College’s Cosmetology/Esthetics (skincare) programs at an information session from 5-6:30 p.m. in the programs’ new salon, Protégé, located at RVCC’s Workforce Training Center. Prospective students will be able to view and participate in hands-on hair demonstrations, meet the programs’ director, take part in a question-and-answer segment, and apply for either program.
