Discussion on Costs of Pursuing a College Education Slated at RVCC

Author Sara Goldrick-Rab will present a discussion on the true costs of pursuing a college education, February 28, 4-7 p.m., at Raritan Valley Community College. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Bateman Center’s Networking Lounge at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Dr. Goldrick-Rab is Professor of Higher Education Policy and Sociology at Temple University, Philadelphia. She will discuss the current research from her latest book, Paying the Price.  During the program, the speaker will be joined by current RVCC students whose personal experiences will illuminate the research.

The event is being presented as part of RVCC’s Humanities, Social Science and Education Department Lecture Series.
