Spring Open House for Prospective Students Slated
Members of the community are invited to attend Raritan Valley Community College’s Spring Open House, Thursday, April 26, from 6-8 p.m. The event, designed for high school students and adults who are interested in pursuing a college degree or certificate, will be held in the Conference Center at the College’s Branchburg campus.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to hear about the College firsthand from current students and alumni; tour the campus including the new Workforce Training Center; learn about financial aid options and support services designed to help students succeed, as well as special services for adults who are returning to the classroom; and meet with members of the RVCC faculty. Participants also may learn about degree programs that are designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities, as well as training programs that prepare students for a new career in a year or less.
The event will include workshops focusing on such topics as how to become an RVCC student, Honors College/NJ Stars, Life After the Concurrent Enrollment Program, and transfer opportunities after graduating from RVCC.
