Business Career Night to be Held at RVCC

Members of the community are invited to attend a free Business Career Night at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) on Thursday, March 23, from 6-8 p.m. Sponsored by the College’s Business and Public Service Department, the event is designed to give interested students and community members an overview of career opportunities in business. The program will be held in the Conference Center at the RVCC’s Branchburg campus.

A panel of speakers representing career areas such as Finance, Accounting, International Business, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain Management will discuss their respective fields and the skills, education and training required for success. After the presentations, attendees are invited to participate in breakout sessions with the panelists where they can receive more specific information on their respective areas.
 
Those attending also will be also able to speak with RVCC faculty to learn more about the College’s Business degree and certificate programs. The department’s mission is to provide challenging career-oriented undergraduate programs to business and public service students, educating them for successful transfer to four-year institutions or immediate entry into the global market. To fulfill its mission, the department promotes the participation and support of faculty, students, business leaders and other community alliances. The department is committed to providing programs that not only develop professional skills, but also foster entrepreneurial spirit, high ethical standards and civic responsibility.
