The Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) Program consists of three modules designed to prepare individuals for essential roles within emergency communication systems.

1. 911 Telecommunicator
This 40-hour course equips participants with foundational knowledge, skills, and experience to effectively understand and operate within an emergency communications system. Participants will learn the functional operations of emergency communications and their responsibilities within such systems.
This course aligns with the following national 911 standards:
- APCO ANSI National Public Safety 911 Training Standard
- NENA 56-004: TTY/TDD Call Handling Standard
- NENA 56-005: Call Answering Standard
- NFPA 1061: Standard for Professional Qualifications for Public Safety Telecommunicators

2. CPR/BLS (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support)
This module provides participants with essential CPR and BLS training to handle life-threatening emergencies effectively.

3. Emergency Medical Dispatcher
This 24-hour national certification course is designed for 911 Communications Officers who handle medical calls and dispatch field responders.
The course prepares and certifies entry-level emergency communications personnel in accordance with the NHTSA EMD National Standard Curriculum. It ensures participants acquire the baseline knowledge and skills needed to perform as Emergency Medical Dispatchers, as prescribed by agency medical control.

Program Prerequisites
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.

Emergency Medical Responder
Formerly known as First Responder, this course is a 56-hour program designed to teach students the skills needed to sustain life and prevent further injury until advanced help arrives. While EMR personnel do not provide primary care to patients being transported by ambulance, they may be asked to assist during the transport of critically injured or ill patients. This course is often required by some industries for their safety and response personnel.
Who Should Enroll?
This course is ideal for factory safety officers and response teams, police officers, firemen or other persons who routinely respond to emergency situations at work or in the community.

HAZWOPER 40-HOUR TRAINING
Prepare yourself for the hazards you’ll encounter on the job with our HAZWOPER 40-Hour Training. This course provides essential knowledge on site characterization, toxicology, hazard recognition, chemical awareness, radiation hazards, and bloodborne pathogens.
Course Highlights:
- Meets and exceeds OSHA 1910.120, NFPA 472 & 1072 Standards
- Daily precautions like safe work practices, respiratory protection, PPE, and decontamination methods
- Critical monitoring techniques, including medical surveillance, air monitoring, and material sampling
- Hands-on training with PPE Levels A and B, leak containment, drum over-packing, and technical decontamination
Who Should Enroll?
This course is mandatory for individuals handling hazardous waste as emergency responders, hazardous waste site operators, or TSDF workers.
