What is the Free Tuition Program and am I eligible?

RVCC is participating in the New Jersey Community College Opportunity Grant Program, which offers free community college to qualified students. To be eligible you must have a total household adjusted income not exceeding $65,000 and take at least 6 credits at your local community college. Eligible students will receive free tuition and most educational fees for up to 18 credits a semester. The first step is to fill out the FAFSA. Dreamers should complete the New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application.

What if I don’t qualify for financial aid and can’t afford tuition?

RVCC awards $300,000 in scholarships every year to worthy students. Check out all the scholarship opportunities and how to apply. The College also offers an interest-free payment plan so you can spread out your tuition payments over the semester.

Can I still get financial aid if I go to school part-time?

Yes, a number of state and federal grants are available to part-time students taking a minimum of 6 credits including federal Pell Grants, the state Tuition Aid Grant, and the state Community College Opportunity Grant. Click here to learn more about grants.  The first step is to fill out the FAFSA. What if I’m working full-time and don’t have time to take classes?

RVCC offers more than 150 online classes each semester that you can take from the convenience of your home on your schedule. Click here to view the Course Schedule, then search under Instructional Methods for Traditional Online for a list of courses. We also offer short-term semesters. There’s a 12-week and 10-week semester and two 7-week sessions each Spring and Fall.

If you have forgotten your password, click here for instructions on how to reset your password. If you don’t remember your G#, email admissions@raritanval.edu with your full name and date of birth and they will help you.
