Student Instrumental, Voice Recitals Set for May 2
Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present two Music Students Recitals on May 2. Both concerts, which are open to the community, will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus.
The concerts will feature performances by music majors in the department’s Associate of Fine Arts degree program, as well as music students from studio and ensemble classes. The recitals’ program will include solo, accompanied, and ensemble pieces, featuring an exceptional variety of musical styles and traditions.
An instrumental recital, with performances by students of RVCC faculty members Abraham Alinea, Michael Eckhart, Dr. Alexandra Joan, Karl Latham, Justin Lee, and Jeremy Sweet, will be held on May 2 at 1:30 p.m.
Featured instrumental students will include: Damon Deangelo, Daniel Santos, Gabriella Abbate, Sydni Fields, Ryan Landrieu, Joseph Lascala, Daniel Lopez-Ortiz, Spencer Poe, Jung-Hyun Noh, and Nathaniel Richmond.
A second recital, with performances by voice students of RVCC faculty member Dr. Will Berman, will be held at 4 p.m. Featured voice students will include: Alex Kesselhaut, Damon Deangelo, Keturah Lockley, Ryan Landrieu, Aliz Thomas Abarca, Cynthia DiMarco, C’andra Tedder, Kathleen Strong, Mabel Cesario, Maria Avila, and Sarah Stefaniak.
Both recitals also will feature Abraham Alinea on piano.
