Third Annual Giving Day to Support Scholarships, Educational Programs
Members of the community are invited to participate in Raritan Valley Community College’s third annual Giving Day on March 21. The 24-hour online event raises funds for scholarships and educational programs at the College. Last year, the RVCC Foundation raised more than $14,000 from approximately 200 donors during Giving Day.
Those interested in being counted as a donor should visit www.raritanval.edu/GivingDay on March 21 and make a minimum gift of $10, choosing which area they want to support. Donors also may text RVCC to 71777 to donate from their phone, using any major credit or debit card. Anyone interested in making a “pledge” of support now—in advance of March 21—can do so by texting RVCC to 71777 or by visiting the RVCC Giving Day site (www.raritanval.edu/GivingDay). Those who pledge in advance will be contacted later by RVCC staff to accept their gift and designated area of support.
In addition, anyone who dines at Stoney Brook Grille in Branchburg on March 20, the day before RVCC Giving Day, and presents a Giving Day coupon will have 25 percent of his or her total bill donated back to the College. For additional information and to receive an RVCC Giving Day coupon for Stoney Brook Grill, contact Janet Dunne at 908-526-1200, ext. 8246 or janet.dunne@raritanval.edu.
