RVCC Administrator Honored by SCBP in Class of 2025 ‘40 Under 40’
Tierra Hall-Edward, Raritan Valley Community College Director of Counseling Services, has been honored by the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) as one of the Class of 2025 40 Under 40.
The honorees were celebrated at the SCBP’s Annual Meeting, held December 8 at The Palace in Somerset.
According to information from the SCBP, the recipients are “a distinguished group of young professionals who are driving innovation, strengthening the local economy, and making a meaningful impact across the community.”
In her role at RVCC, Hall-Edward supports and leads mental health staff and campus-wide efforts focused on student well-being and access to care. She brings over five years of experience in higher education, including three years at the College, along with a strong clinical background in counseling services.
“I’m passionate about creating accessible, effective mental health programs centered on empowerment and education that help students build resilience, grow with confidence, and succeed both academically and personally,” says Hall-Edward.
The Somerset County Business Partnership’s 40 honorees come from a diverse range from sectors, including education, technology, business, nonprofit, hospitality, healthcare, and public service. “Each honoree has demonstrated exceptional professional achievements, strong leadership, and a commitment to contributing to the vitality and growth of Somerset County,” according to information from the Business Partnership.
