Reimagined Fairy Tales to be Performed at Theatre

The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College will present a performance of Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales, Saturday, March 21, at 2 p.m. The production is part of the Theatre’s Family Matinee Series, which offers performances for children and young teens and their families.                                                                                

Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales reimagines three cherished stories—Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, and The Three Billy Goats Gruff—in a fresh, engaging performance designed for audiences ages 3-7. Those in attendance will follow a brave raccoon and a clever mouse on a gentle adventure filled with humor, heroism, and treasure hunting, as they unknowingly help the goats, bears, and pigs prevent disaster without any true villains in sight.

The show features Mermaid Theatre’s signature puppetry and storytelling. The production celebrates friendship and courage, offering laughter and wonder for young audiences and their families.

Tickets for Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales cost $25, $20, and $15.
