The Raritan Valley Community College Planetarium in Branchburg is offering stars shows and laser concerts for all ages in November, as well as special Spanish-language programs. The following shows will be presented:

Magic Tree House: Space Mission, Saturdays, November 2, 9, 23, at 3 p.m.
Young star gazers join Magic Tree House characters Jack and Annie as they discover the secrets of the Sun, Moon, planets, space travel and more. Who can help them answer the questions posted by the mysterious “M”? The show is based on the same-titled, best-selling series of novels. (Recommended for ages 5 and older)

Laser Kids, Saturdays, November 2, 9, 23, at 4 p.m.
Enjoy a laser concert featuring music that entertains kids and kids at heart. Songs include “Try Everything” from the movie Zootopia, “YMCA” by the Village People, and “Everything is Awesome” from the Lego Movie. (Recommended for ages 6-12)

Astronomy Tonight, Saturday, November 2, at 7 p.m.
Using the Planetarium’s DigitalSky digital theater, experience a guided tour of the night sky. Learn about some of the popular constellations visible from sunset to sunrise, as well as the stories behind them. Hear about how and where in the sky to find the brightest planets. Weather permitting, the 3M Observatory will be open after the show. (Recommended for ages 8-adult)

Pink Floyd: The Wall laser concert, Saturdays, November 2, 9, 16, 23, at 8 p.m.
This popular laser concert features such Pink Floyd classics as “Hey You,” “Goodbye Cruel World,” and “Another Brick in the Wall.” (Recommended for ages 10-adult)

The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket, Friday, November 8, at 2 p.m.
Travel with two adventurous youngsters in their cardboard rocket as they explore the Sun and the planets of the solar system. (Recommended for ages 6-12)

Laser Pop Rock, Friday, November 8, at 3 p.m.
Lasers dance across the dome while pop music is played. Songs include "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by The Tokens, "Campfire Song" by Spongebob Squarepants, and "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift. (Recommended for ages 6-12)

Exploding Universe, Saturdays, November 9, 16, 23, at 7 p.m.
The universe we see today is the product of explosive events. As the universe has transformed into its current state, even the most elementary particles have endured. The show follows the path of one of these particles, a proton, as it participates in nature’s astounding events of rebirth and renewal. The program includes a brief tour of the current night sky. (Recommended for ages 10-adult)

Rockin’ Rocket Ride, Saturday, November 16, at 3 p.m.
Put on your space suit and blast-off into outer space to visit the Moon, Sun and planets. A lively experience for young people, the show features selected music from "Journey Into Space" by Jane Murphy. It’s Pajama Day at the Planetarium, so make sure you wear your PJs and bring a favorite stuff animal. (Recommended for ages 3-8)

Storybooks in Space, Saturday, November 16, at 4 p.m.
Enjoy story time in the Planetarium as youngsters and their families learn about the stars and planets. It’s Pajama Day at the Planetarium, so make sure you wear your PJs and bring a favorite stuff animal. (Recommended for ages 4-8)

• Una Noche en Español (Spanish Night), Friday, November 22, from 7-10 p.m.
  Enjoy three programs at the RVCC Planetarium presented entirely in Spanish. Shows include:
• El secreto del cohete de carton, 7 p.m.
  Travel with two adventurous youngsters in their cardboard rocket as they explore the Sun and the planets of the solar system.
• De la Tierra al Universo, 8 p.m.
  The sky is a place of wonder. Philosophers and scientists, from the Greeks to Galileo, began to unravel some of its mysteries. The invention of the telescope has allowed for still more discoveries. Fly by all the planets in our solar system, then travel beyond to view the birthplace and death of stars, and still farther to the myriad galaxies in our Universe. The program includes a brief tour of the current night sky. (Recommended for ages 10-adult)
• La Música, concierto de lasers, 9 p.m.
  Enjoy a laser concert featuring a variety of popular songs – all in Spanish. Artists include Calle 13, Prince Royce, and Bad Bunny.

The Planetarium is closed Thanksgiving weekend, November 28-31.
