Perkins V – Career and Technical Education Initiative
Eight Bonnie Brae students ages 17-20 visited Raritan Valley Community College’s campus on October 17 as part of the Perkins V – Career and Technical Education initiative. Their visit included attending a general information and campus tour, as well as participating in in a series of career awareness sessions with faculty members in their respective facility/laboratory.
Students learned about a number of RVCC programs, including Digital Media/Film Studies, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technology, Exercise Science, Engineering, Automotive Technology, and Environmental Control Technology.
The experience offered the Bonnie Brae students an up-close look at career and technical education pathways and the chance to imagine their future career path.
