Online Municipal Court Training Program Set
Raritan Valley Community College is partnering with the New Jersey Judiciary to offer classes to members of the public seeking careers in municipal court administration.
An online Principles of Municipal Court Administration (POMCA) program will be held February 1 to April 12. The course, which will be offered “live” via Zoom webinars, will be held Mondays, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The program is geared toward individuals who are interested in working toward the certification necessary for certain municipal court administrative positions.
The 11-week program will give prospective municipal court employees an understanding of judiciary policies and basic municipal court procedures, including case processing, case management and financial fundamentals, in order to prepare them for career opportunities.
