MLT Students Attend Education Scientific Assembly
Students in Raritan Valley Community College’s Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program recently attended the New Jersey chapter of the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science’s (ASCLS) Education Scientific Assembly meeting, held at Monmouth Medical Center. The event, which introduced important learning resources to students, also provided them with an opportunity to network with current and future professionals.
One of RVCC’s MLT students, Samantha Maxcy, has been selected as a Developing Professional member of NJ’s ASCLS chapter. As a Developing Professional member, she will receive a stipend of up to $1500 from ASCLS to attend the Annual ASCLS meeting, to be held in June in Sacramento, CA.
