Holocaust Institute Slates Webinar with Author, Child of Holocaust Survivors
Raritan Valley Community College’s Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies will present an online discussion with author Anna Salton Eisen, Friday, December 6, at 10 a.m.
Anna Salton Eisen was an adult when she finally broke her parents’ silence about their Holocaust experiences. In her moving memoir, Pillar of Salt, she recounts her accidental discovery, as a youth, of two watercolor paintings by her father that depicted the horrors of the Holocaust.
In Pillar of Salt, Eisen combines the meticulous work of an archaeologist with the compassion of a daughter, courageously embracing her legacy as a second-generation descendant of Holocaust survivors.
The program is free of charge and open to the public. Registration for the webinar is required. To register, visit https://tinyurl.com/mtww3f3d.
The discussion with author Anna Salton Eisen is part of the Learning Through Experience series, presented in partnership with the Jewish Federation of West Central New Jersey.
