The Raritan Valley Community College Foundation is welcoming its largest single block of new board members in the Foundation’s history. Included in the additions are members of the newly conceived “emerging class” of current students and early-career alumni, which was established to bring a younger and more diverse voice to the Foundation’s work.

“I am excited by the arrival of our newly appointed Foundation Board directors. I know they are engaged and ready to make an impact for the College.” said Steven A. Reichman, Chairman, RVCC Foundation Board.

“I am confident that our new board members will bring a high-level energy to support the RVCC Foundation’s goals,” added Michael (Mike) Marion, the Foundation’s Executive Director and Chief Development Officer. “I am honored to have had a hand in bringing this outstanding group onto the board. They all have great passion and a genuine commitment to help advance RVCC.”

Among the RVCC alumni in the early-career class are Nicholas Matarazzo (Class of 2015), Project Manager, Integration Management Office, RWJBarnabas Health, and Joel Reyes-Guzman (Class of 2014), Propulsion Design & Analysis Engineer, The Boeing Company.
Reyes-Guzman flew in from Charleston, South Carolina to attend his first board meeting. “I owe a great deal to RVCC,” said Reyes-Guzman. “The College has a lot to do with who I am today.”
