At Raritan Valley Community College, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming community for international students. Our campus is home to students from more than 30 different countries who are studying here with an F-1 visa.
Our goal is to offer international students a rich college experience with a warm environment, helpful instructors, and quality programs that lead to an exciting career. • International Student Advisors

  A special advisor is available to assist international students planning to attend RVCC on F-1 visas. The advisor will walk you step-by-step through the admissions process. • Cultural Clubs

  Student life is a big part of the RVCC experience. Many international students feel right at home when participating in one of our many cultural clubs, such as the International Cultural Association, the United Caribbean Students Club, the Latin Pride Club, the Filipino Pride Engagement Awareness & Cultural Empowerment (P.E.A.C.E.) Club, and more.
   

International Students: Apply in Four Easy Steps!

1.Fill out your RVCC application & submit documentation.

Complete all required forms in the International Student Admissions Packet. The application fee is $225. The packet includes a handy checklist to assist you with the application to RVCC and obtaining the Form I20 for obtaining the F-1 non-immigrant visa/status process.

2. Determine college placement.

Once you’ve been approved for F-1 status, and before enrolling in classes, we’ll need to know your skill level in reading, writing, mathematics, and the English language. You can take a placement test either in person or remotely. Schedule your placement testing here.

3. Register for classes.

Once you’ve been accepted to RVCC, make an appointment with an International Student Advisor here for assistance with selecting courses and understanding requirements.

4. Pay tuition.
