What you'll learn: Upon completion of this course, students will have an understanding of the entertainment industry, including its various stages of production, job opportunities and professional expectations in film and television. Students will acquire knowledge and skills to pursue entry-level positions in the industry, specific terminology, how a creative project moves from script to screen. All with an emphasis on industry standards, practices and procedures and on-set safety protocols.
Are you interested in learning what goes behind the Film & TV industry and then working in it as a stylist or MUA? This class is a pre-requisite for all of the NJ Film Academy courses including Intro to Hair & Makeup for Film & TV Class, launching at RVCC in March 2026. The Hair and Makeup course is only being offered to Licensed Cosmetologists due to state board regulations.
