RVCC TO PRESENT STUDENT ART EXHIBITION
Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts Department will present the annual RVCC Student Art Exhibition in two installments again this year. The first exhibition (Part I) runs from March 20-April 10, in the Art Gallery in the College?s North Branch Campus.
An opening reception will be held Friday, March 20, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
The wide variety of artwork included in the exhibition was created by RVCC students and selected by faculty members from the Visual & Performing Arts Department. Part I will feature an array of media from the following disciplines: 2D design, drawing, ceramics, book arts, illustration and color theory. The show is being coordinated by Darren McManus.
Gallery hours for the exhibition are Mondays, 3-8 p.m.; Tuesdays, 12-3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-8 p.m.; Thursdays, 2-6 p.m.; and Fridays, 12-3 p.m. For additional information, contact the Visual and Performing Arts Department, 908-218-8876.
Part II of the exhibition will run from April 17-May 4.
