RVCC TO OFFER SENIOR FITNESS SPECIALIST CERTIFICATION COURSE
The Allied Health department of Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division is offering a Senior Fitness Specialist Certification course this fall. The four-session course will be offered Saturdays, November 10-December 8, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the College?s North Branch Campus. No class will be held Saturday, November 24.
The course provides participants with the training and education they need to serve the fastest growing fitness population in the US. The certification provides the specific knowledge and practical skills needed for working with an older adult clientele. Learn what common ailments and physical conditions are germane to this population and how to design age-appropriate, fun and functional exercise programs.
The American Council on Education has issued 1 college credit for the course.
