 Room Layouts



Please note that these layouts are only examples of potential designs for your event.  Each space/venue on campus has a different capacity for furniture, so these room layouts are subject to change based on your requested event location.  You may also create your own design template in Microsoft Publisher and submit it to Student Life for approval no later than 30 days prior to the event.  

In addition to the furniture options featured below, there are 16  pieces of stage (8' x 4') which can be configured in various ways.  Be mindful of the design of your request location when choosing a layout to ensure the best design for your event and space.   



 Audience Style Seating

 This layout provides appropriate seating for a speaker presentation, panel discussion, musical performance, theatre show, etc. 
 Awards Style Seating 

This layout provides seating and table space, as well as room for a stage for performers, an award ceremony, speech, etc.  

Banquet Style Seating 

This option provides similar seating to the Awards Style Seating, however there is no stage accounted for in this design. 
Classroom Style Seating 

This layout is idea for a program that asks attendees to take notes, collect handouts, or participate in an activity that requires a desktop.
Dance Style Seating 

This set-up allows for a dance floor as well as ample seating for a dinner dance, or resting seats for guests.  

 Induction Style Seating 

The Induction Style Seating option is one that provides a space for a procession, table seating, single chair seating, as well as space to hold awards or certificates and a buffet style meal. 

Meeting Style Seating

This layout is ideal for a gathering of multiple people, or organizations.  There is space for comfortable seating as well as desktop work space for writing.  This particular set up allots space for single chair seating as well.  
 Open House    
Open House Style Seating 

This set-up is similar to the "Meeting Style Seating", the difference being that the tables and chair set-up is designed in a full circle.  This design allows for a "round table" discussion without any crowding and ample desktop work space for all attendees.  

Party Style Seating

This design combines a buffet style food line, round tables for seating, drink and refreshments tables, as well as 6' rectangle tables for miscellaneous displays or additional refreshments.
