Tutoring Center

RVCC is committed to your success! Our team of tutors is here to help students develop into lifelong learners by creating a collaborative and inclusive environment. We offer free virtual and face to face tutoring services. Appointments are available Monday-Thursday from 9am to 6:30pm and Friday 9am to 3pm, College Center C170. We also offer virtual tutoring on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. We are here for you!

The Tutoring Center has two options for tutoring. 

  1. Via our tutors - We have both peer and professional tutors who are ready to assist you. Peer tutors are students who have received a B+ or higher in classes they tutor, and professional tutors have degrees in their areas of expertise.
  2. Via Brainfuse - A free online tutoring service that covers key areas like math, science, business, computer science, and more. Tutoring is available outside of Tutoring Center business hours and is done by non-RVCC tutors.

YouTube Channel

The Tutoring Center has a YouTube channel! On the channel you will find videos on how to solve math problems, develop thesis statements, improve your study skills, and much more! The channel is updated with videos periodically, and requests for topics are always welcome. Browse our channel and feel free to leave comments on the videos.
