RVCC to present Annual Music Faculty Recital

Raritan Valley Community College’s Visual and Performing Arts Department (VAPA) will present the annual Music Faculty Recital, Sunday, February 26, at 3 p.m. Organized by Associate Professor Tony Strong, Music Coordinator for the VAPA Department, the event will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Participating music faculty will include Michael Eckhart, guitar (Hillsborough); Steve Hudson, piano (New York City); John Loehrke, bass (New York City); Margaret Nelson, piano (Hillsborough), John Sichel, piano (Mountainside); and Tony Strong, piano (Long Valley).  Michelle Brazier, violin (Bound Brook), a faculty member from the English Department, will be the Special Guest Artist.

The program will include solo, accompanied and ensemble pieces, spanning a wonderful variety of musical styles, traditions and repertory. Original compositions and arrangements also will be featured.
