The RVCC Alumni Association provide services and benefits that enrich the lives of RVCC alumni, builds lasting ties between alumni and the college, and fosters support among alumni for the work of the college, now and in the future.
The Raritan Valley Community College Alumni Association is dedicated to serving alumni and friends of the college. The mission of the RVCC Alumni Association to provide opportunities for alumni to stay connected through communications, programs, and services that foster a lifetime relationship with the college.
Who is eligible?
The alumni association is open to anyone who:
completed a degree program at RVCC
received a credit-bearing certificate of proficiency
earned 30 or more credits from RVCC
What are the benefits of joining the RVCC Alumni Association?
There are many benefits associated with joining the RVCC Alumni Association, but the most beneficial part is the rewarding experience of maintaining your connection with RVCC and expanding your personal and professional networks. Other benefits include:
Free membership card to take advantage of off campus discounts
Career Services Office - assists alumni with career counseling, resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies and resources, all free of charge
The Theatre at RVCC - four tickets per show with a 50% discount.
The Planetarium - $1.00 off each ticket up to 4 tickets; 10% discount at the Planetarium gift shop
Evelyn Field Library - includes borrowing privileges of books; access to computers, internet and on-campus use of databases
Optical Clinic - offers 500 top quality frames and marketplace lenses for at least a 65% discount. Family members are also eligible
Free use of the pool
Invitations and discounts to special events, reunions, lectures, and much more

Now is a great time to give back to RVCC. Distinguished Alumni Award
The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes living alumni for their exceptional achievements in the following areas: professional successes; civic contributions within their local community, state or nation; academic accomplishments, service to RVCC, and/or personal triumphs. Nominees must have received a degree or certificate at RVCC and must be able to attend the Awards Dinner to accept the award. The Raritan Valley Community College Alumni Association awarded Theresa Richardson, RVCC Class of 1994, with the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award. Richardson, who grew up in Bound Brook, is a partner at the accounting firm of WithumSmith+Brown, PC in their Morristown office, and has over 17 years of accounting experience. She is a certified public accountant in both New Jersey and New York and is licensed to practice as a public school accountant in New Jersey. In her community, Theresa serves on the Rider University Accounting Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Finance Committee of St. Mary's Church. She resides in Green Brook with her husband Matthew and children Joseph, Jacob and Cristina.
