Important Information for Current College for Working Adult Students
Our experience with College for Working Adults has been so positive that the College is going to be expanding the model. By the spring of 2011, more departments will be offering classes on Friday nights, Saturdays and as hybrids. The addition of more classes will make it possible for other majors to take advantage of this delivery option and will give you more choices.

As a result of this expansion, we have decided to phase out the College for Working Adults designation. The immediate evidence of this phase out will be that starting immediately you will no longer see the seven week classes designated as “For CWA Students only”. This means there is no longer a hold on these classes. However, for the fall 2010, we are holding seats open in the classes that were formerly designated for CWA students. If you go to register for classes and the class appears to be full, please email Ms. Anne Walters at awalters@raritanval.edu she will register you for the class if there are still CWA reserved seats left.

Since you were part of the College for Working Adults, we are committed to seeing you complete the program. But, you need to take an active role in your education by communicating with us. In future semesters, we will continue to notify you of classes we feel you should be taking in order to complete your degree. This communication will come prior to early registration. Remember, there will no longer be holds on these classes so you must register early to ensure a seat. As always we are here to help with advising; please feel free to contact us at any time. We are happy to set up a time to meet individually with you. We hope that with the expansion of the program you will be able to register in a more efficient manner and have a greater selection of courses to choose from.
