Education Will Pay You Back—For a Lifetime
Average Earnings in Somerset and Hunterdon counties  
 
  Students enjoy an attractive 14.5% rate of return on their RVCC educational investment.
     
  Over the course of a working career, the average RVCC students’ lifetime earnings will increase $4.60 for every dollar invested in their RVCC education (in the form of tuition, fees, and forgone earnings).
     
  The average annual income of the typical associate’s degree graduate in the Somerset and Hunterdon counties at the midpoint of his or her career is $69,200, 35% more than someone with a high school diploma.
     
  Over the course of a working lifetime, associate’s degree graduates in the Somerset and Hunterdon counties earn $705,900 more than someone with a high school diploma (undiscounted).

  By 2021 it is anticipated that there will be about 99,700 new and replacement jobs available in the Somerset and Hunterdon counties.
