An Open House for the Kean University Executive MBA Program will be held Tuesday, December 9, from 6-7:30 p.m., at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC). The event will be held in the Conference Center (Room 102) at the College?s North Branch Campus.

The Executive MBA Program is offered by Kean University through RVCC?s University Center. The University Center provides an alternate means for Somerset and Hunterdon County residents and workers to complete advanced education without having to travel outside the region. Through partnerships with an expanding number of accredited colleges and universities, the Center provides access to a great variety of higher educational opportunities, including baccalaureate and graduate-level certificates and degrees. The courses are offered at RVCC?s North Branch campus.

The Kean University EMBA program is designed for executives and business professionals who already have substantial business experience and knowledge. The program prepares managers to succeed in a global business environment and to effectively manage a multicultural workforce. The accelerated program, which can be completed in 20-24 months, builds on the student?s current knowledge and skill set while testing the latest business management, finance and marketing techniques and strategies.

The program focuses on core knowledge in key business disciplines, advanced knowledge in management issues, a specialized discipline area and capstone experience. The curriculum is designed to train students in cross-cultural sensitivity and to create an appreciation of the challenges of managing in a multicultural business environment. Case studies are used extensively throughout the curriculum to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills.
