RVCC TO OFFER COURSE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division is offering a Project Management Certification program. The course will be held Saturdays, October 11 to December 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the College?s North Branch Campus. No class will be held Saturday, November 29.
The Certificate in Project Management program provides students with the training hours needed to meet the educational requirements for the Project Management Professional (PMP) and the Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) certifications offered through PMI. PMI is the global organization representing the project management profession through the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
The curriculum presents the nine bodies of knowledge in preparation for the PMP examination, combined with material that presents practical, real-world experiences. The course includes the practical application of PMI principles, as well as exam study preparation, test-taking strategies and a practice examination.
