RVCC TO OFFER COURSE IN TOURETTE SYNDROME, RELATED DISORDERS
The Allied Health department of Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division is offering a seminar on Tourette Syndrome, ADHD, OCD and Related Disorders. The three-hour program will be offered Friday, September 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the College?s North Branch Campus.
The seminar will give educators and school nurses a better understanding of these disorders and their impact at school and at home. It will present information about the challenges confronting students dealing with these disorders, as well as their strengths and potential. The presenter has been a professional educator for more than two decades and is the parent of a child with Tourette Syndrome.
The $59 cost includes all fees and texts. Registration is limited and it?s on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.
