The public is invited to attend a free film screening and panel discussion at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) on biblical views of homosexuality, Wednesday, April 15, from 6-10 p.m. The event, which is being hosted by RVCC?s Alliance Club, will feature a screening of For the Bible Tells Me So . It will be held in the Atrium at the College?s North Branch Campus.

The 90-minute documentary addresses the commonly held religious belief that homosexuality is ?an abomination? and ?sin against God,? offering multiple faith perspectives. It depicts the struggles of five families trying to reconcile their religious teachings and their love for their homosexual sons and daughters.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring member of the local clergy, who will share their church teachings and views on homosexuality, specifically addressing commonly cited biblical passages.
