RVCC TO SHOWCASE STUDENTS? WORK
The public is invited to attend a special event showcasing work by Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) students on Tuesday, April 21. The nota bene recognition program will be held from 12-2 p.m. and from 6-9 p.m. in the Conference Center at the College?s North Branch Campus.
The free event will highlight student projects featured in nota bene, RVCC?s annual online journal that showcases noteworthy talents in various disciplines. The work ranges from poetry, painting, sculpture and video, to market research, scientific observations, literary analysis and personal essays. The annual program motivates students by having their works judged by professionals in the field. It recognizes creativity, self-expression and academic excellence.
The event will feature work by 36 RVCC students completed during the 2007-2008 academic school year. Those being honored include: Dana Aguilar, Vasilios Avramidis, Jodi Bangart, Marc Brodsky, Deborah Carlsen, Adam Ciccarino, Sheila Coutin, Margaret Ervin-Willis, Nicholas Evans, Kason Farnella, Jonathan Fetherolf, Alex Grier, Chanel Harris, Alexa Henao, Debbie Horinko, Kyle Horstmann, Lilly Hutchison, Jason Jackson, Carol Jinier, Susanna Kopchains, Mary MacChesney, Toni Marchick, Sarah Mellies, Eric Pellegrino, Sofia Pfau, Jillian Pfund, Bjorn Ringoen, Pamela Sabin, John Toro, Jenna Totten, Andrew Tyson, Hayley Waters, Clint Wieland, Elizabeth Young, Konstantin Zingerman and Grazyna Zukowski.
