RVCC TO PRESENT ART STUDENTS JURIED EXHIBITION
Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts Department will present the 4th Annual RVCC Art Students Juried Exhibition , December 7-20, in the Art Gallery at the College?s North Branch Campus.
An opening reception will be held Friday, December 7, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Artwork completed by RVCC students in the College?s Visual Arts Department during the past year?since the Fall 2006 semester?will be featured in the juried show. The artwork will include a wide variety of media, such as ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture, graphics, photography, illustration and printmaking.
Each student was permitted to submit up to three pieces of artwork for consideration. Jim Toia, artist/professor and director of the Grossman Gallery at Lafayette College, will evaluate all the entries and then select the works for inclusion in the show.
Gallery hours are Mondays, 3-8 p.m.; Tuesdays, noon-3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-8 p.m.; Thursdays, 3-6 p.m.; and Fridays, noon-3 pm.
