RVCC TO HOST COLLEGE FAIR FOR HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES
Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) will host the 10th Annual Malcolm Bernard Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) College Fair, Thursday, November 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Gymnasium at the College?s North Branch Campus. The fair is being hosted at RVCC by the Student Club Unity, Office of Student Life & Civic Engagement and the College?s Robeson Institute.
The fair is expected to draw 1,000 students and 50 academic recruiters from historically black colleges and universities from across the country.
High school and community college students are welcome to attend the event, which will include workshops on such topics as the application process and financial aid. High school students must attend with their parents/guardians or high school counselors. The program will also feature a motivational speaker and an HBCU alumni panel of speakers.
